We address this challenge by teaching modern drying and preservation techniques and installing solar or electric dehydrators in villages. By combining local knowledge with innovative solutions—such as solar dryers, electric dehydrators, and value-addition tools—we ensure that more produce reaches consumers and markets instead of being wasted through these efforts.
About Us
BD Agri Bridge was founded by professionals experienced in sustainable agriculture and community development. Our work is driven by a simple but powerful realization: one-third of the world’s food is lost or wasted every year, and in Bangladesh alone this amounts to 145 million tons annually.
We exist to change that.
Our goal is to eliminate food waste at the source by equipping rural communities with practical preservation skills and affordable technology. From bananas, mangoes, pineapples, and jackfruit to vegetables and leafy greens—every perishable crop has the potential to be preserved and turned into nutritious, value-added products.
Research confirms that reducing post-harvest loss “increases food availability, alleviates hunger, and improves farmers’ welfare” without additional pressure on natural resources. BD Agri Bridge envisions a future where farming communities thrive by transforming seasonal abundance into sustainable income while protecting the environment.

Technical Services
Solar Dryer
Our solar dryers use greenhouse-style chambers and transparent panels to capture solar energy. This provides a cost-effective, off-grid drying method ideal for rural farmers. Solar dryers reach higher temperatures than open-air drying and reduce drying time by 16–35%, resulting in better quality and safer dried products—especially during the rainy season or in areas with inconsistent sunlight.
Electric Dehydrator
In locations with reliable grid or generator power, our stainless-steel electric dehydrators offer consistent, year-round drying. These units feature adjustable temperature control and airflow systems, ensuring uniform dehydration of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and more. They complement solar dryers and prevent waste when sunlight is insufficient.
Agri Chula (Eco-Friendly Burner)
To support our biomass and cow-dung pellets, we provide clean-burning stoves designed for efficient combustion with minimal smoke and ash. These burners offer steady heat for cooking or processing and help reduce reliance on wood, coal, and other polluting fuels.
Cow Dung Pellets
Our cow-dung pellets are a renewable and eco-friendly biofuel made from fully dried and compacted manure using modern processing technology. They burn cleanly in stoves, boilers, and industrial heaters, providing an affordable local alternative to firewood and fossil fuels. By using these pellets, communities can improve waste management, reduce indoor air pollution, and protect natural resources from overuse.
BD Agri Bridge is committed to social, environmental, and economic impact. By preserving seasonal surplus crops, we help improve year-round food security and nutritional diversity for rural households. Research shows that solar drying of surplus produce significantly improves dietary intake throughout the year. We conduct hands-on trainings, field demonstrations, and farmer workshops focused on safe drying, hygienic handling, and business development. Our CSR Project Permaculture is a regenerative agricultural design system that mirrors natural ecosystems to create long-lasting, productive landscapes. It centers on soil health, water conservation, biodiversity, and efficient resource use. Through renewable energy and organic practices, permaculture builds resilient, low-maintenance food systems. At BD Agri Bridge, we apply permaculture principles to enhance production, reduce waste, strengthen farmer knowledge, and develop climate-resilient farming solutions across Bangladesh.
